Zelda by Herself: The Art of Zelda Fitzgerald

Exhibition on display March 4 through March 29
Zelda Fitzgerald was not only an icon of the Jazz Age and the dazzling wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald, around whom he shaped his famous female literary figures; she was also an accomplished artist in her own right. She was a writer, dancer, and, most notably, painter. During her lifetime, she was eclipsed by her husband. Now, long after her death, she has the spotlight in an exhibition of her original watercolors of dreamscapes, cityscapes, dancers, and fairytales. Exhibition tour organized by International Arts & Artists, Washington DC.

What about Zelda?
Slideshow presentation by Eleanor Lanahan, granddaughter of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Monday, March 5, 5:15pm

Drawing upon family stories and extensive interviews with her mother, “Scottie” (F. Scott’s and Zelda’s only child), Ms. Lanahan will provide rare glimpses into the fabled lives and creative works of America’s most celebrated literary couple.
