For faculty and advisors -
the Carol Tatkon Center is an ideal place for:

  • programs in an adaptable and fully equipped classroom
  • discussions in seminar rooms
  • meetings in conference rooms
  • mentoring in offices or lounges, or
  • chats over a latté or smoothie in Carol's Café

There's something for every first-year student at the Tat! You can:

  • Attend one of the many interesting programs that include film, theater, and discussion.
  • Ask the Center's student staff anything! They're upper-class Cornellians with invaluable "insider" information.
  • Check out the rotating art exhibits, including student artwork.
  • Talk to a professional about adjusting to Cornell, relationship issues, family problems, sexual health concerns, depression, anxiety, stress, or any other problem big or small.
  • Meet with your TA or study group.
  • Refuel at Carol's Café with a bite to eat and coffee .
  • Break the ice! Meet professors during our Coffee Houses in the Majors.
  • Take advantage of the Center's on-site laptop lending service or Net-Print.
  • Chat with a financial aid guru!
  • Meet with your study group in one of the Center’s comfy spaces.

...And that’s just for starters! Check our website regularly.

Every month is different at the Tat!
